Disclaimers & Rules:
This document is continuously being updated. As long as you are a member of this group you should revisit this page to update yourself on the disclaimers. Remaining a member implies your agreement to the statements made below.
- If you dont plan on going out to nature to spend moments of solitude .. plz leave this meetup. I don't want to spam you with emails if you're not interested in this meetup's mission.
- No disrespectful behavior will be tolerated
- Let's limit any specific religious discussions, we come from various religious and spiritual backgrounds, with a shared goal here to experience solitude.
- All the text from the "What we do - How we do it" and "Mission" page, or any specific meetup event page, are also considered a part of the rules and disclaimers found on this page and should be respected.
- During solitude time, you must be quiet, respectful and as private-as-possible to not distract others. No smoking or strong perfumes (essential oils are OK) or loud noises allowed.
- No strong perfumes allowed, but essential oils are good.
- Give others in the group what you want to be given (space, quietness, respect, privacy etc..)
- Let Ethan know if you have ANY issue with any other group member. This is not complaining and wont be taken as so. I want to allow each person to experience solitude (during the allotted times, whether moving or being still). If your solitude is being disturbed others' also are probably feeling the same way and I want to know so I can preserve this experience for everyone.
- If you are approached by Ethan with a heads up (to be quiet or stop a certain behavior) do not take it personally.
- This group aims at being/offering a place to be: calm, down to earth, pleasant, and non-negative. Activities or behavior that go against these goals are not allowed.
- Anyone has an issue? let Ethan know.
- As the meetup organizer Ethan preserves the full right to grant or remove membership privileges from any member at any time with or without notice at organizer's discretion.

Welcome!
This is the home of the Minnesota-based group of solitude seekers. We welcome people from "any" and all philosophical (religious/spiritual/scientific/skeptic etc) backgrounds. This group's goal is to enable individuals to experience solitude, to encourage experiencing a solitary personal time, and to promote achieving "solitude" time (mostly) outdoors.
Click on the tabs above to learn more about this group, what we do, what you can do when in solitude, the rules and the mission statement, along with links to our Google Community and Meetup sites. Below you can find posts of upcoming (and past) events and with other random solitude-related posts.
