Welcome!
This is the home of the Minnesota-based group of solitude seekers. We welcome people from "any" and all philosophical (religious/spiritual/scientific/skeptic etc) backgrounds. This group's goal is to enable individuals to experience solitude, to encourage experiencing a solitary personal time, and to promote achieving "solitude" time (mostly) outdoors.

Click on the tabs above to learn more about this group, what we do, what you can do when in solitude, the rules and the mission statement, along with links to our Google Community and Meetup sites. Below you can find posts of upcoming (and past) events and with other random solitude-related posts.

What We Do

page under construction

What we do & How it's done

Meetings / get-togethers are structures as follows

((Please read this whole page carefully before attending a meetup))

The plan:
1-We meet & greet,
2-We walk on a trail
3-once we find a good location, split and spend time minutes or more alone and apart. You will know that the group is close by and we can walk in and out together. Once the time is up,
4-We regroup and walk out, socializing on the way

5-We might sit and socialize afterwards as long as we have achieved our goal of personal solitude in nature... but this is a "might", not a promise or goal. The goal is always to achieve a level of personal solitude.

6-We also share photos (in the albums here) and we share written material or ideas, experiences and opinions (in the discussion forum) relating to solitude.

7-Different future events will depend on demand and participation (holiday gatherings, social non-solitude gatherings, etc).

Important:
Please let Ethan know as soon as you can if you have ANY issues that need attention.
